In "Amoral America" (Forum, April), Corey Dinsdale argues that "we are quickly becoming an amoral society" because of acceptance of premarital sex, adultery, pornography, homosexuality, bisexualism, transgenderism and gay marriage. Dinsdale needs to reread his Bible and change his definition of "morality."

God made our bodies in his own image, and they are therefore beautiful, and we are meant to look at them as such and enjoy the beauty of his greatest creation. Why else would God have given us sexual hormones to make us desire each other?

Dinsdale also needs read how God does define morality. We are told repeatedly to love and care for our neighbor. So it is immoral to let children go hungry, to not take care of the poor and the elderly and to deny health care to the sick — as our country does. It is immoral for our country to wage war without reason and to kill innocent civilians.

Dinsdale should quit defining morality by sex, quit concerning himself with what happens in other people's bedrooms and look around God's world and start doing as Jesus would do — caring for others.
