I was happy to read the thumb-down editorial "Bad news for voters" (Our View, April 6), which lamented our political system that makes candidates start running and fundraising now for the next election.

I was dismayed to begin reading about Mia Love so soon after the last election in which she lost to Rep. Jim Matheson. The political ads were run day and night — way too often. She didn't win the election and probably made more naysayers than supporters with her ads.

I sincerely hope that we do not have to see too much of her in the future.
