Re "Troy Knapp, Utah's elusive 'Mountain Man' burglar, is arrested" (Tribune, April 3):
To call the common thief Troy Knapp a "mountain man" is an insult to Jim Bridger, Jedediah Strong Smith and the other fine and honest (and real) mountain men who were in and helped settle Utah.
