Letter: Canine cleanup

I’m a dog owner who often frequents Mill Creek Canyon. I’m concerned about what a mess the trails are from dog feces!

Do dog owners think they are above cleaning up after their dogs? Dog waste is not ground fertilizer.

Pet ownership and the use of Mill Creek Canyon are privileges, not rights.

Privileges may be taken away.

It’s the only canyon we have where we may take dogs. Come on, people, before it’s too late — let’s clean up our act, or rather, clean up after our dogs.
