Letter: Don’t permit idiocy

Our Legislature has once again proved beyond any doubt that they are profiles in idiocy.

To allow people to carry concealed weapons without obtaining a permit is right up there with allowing small knives, golf clubs, hockey sticks, etc., to be carried onto airplanes.

Come on Gov. Gary Herbert, don’t straddle the fence on the concealed weapons bill. It’s a no-brainer. Veto, veto, veto.

In the future, we really should have a mandatory common-sense test that all candidates for public office be required to pass.
