I work hard for what I have, and for what I can’t afford, I go without. So I am burned at proposals to build a new prison we can’t afford and by how our prisons are run.
People in prisons should not have luxuries — fully equipped gyms, the latest movies, recreation rooms, TVs and computer access. This is supposed to be punishment, not a resort stay.

Keep prisons like they were intended to be — a cell with a bed, sink, toilet and books. Meals should be balanced, but not better than most on the outside eat.
The money saved by making prisons actually prisons could be better used for education, police and fire departments.
Leave the prison where it is, get rid of the luxuries, and build more cells.
