Letter: Abandoned at birth

Re "Utah lawmakers kill preschool bill for at-risk children" (Tribune March 6) and "Utah lawmakers back charity care instead of Medicaid expansion" (Tribune, March 12):

I continue to be amazed by legislators who fight for the life of an unborn child but fail to provide the support, health and education for that child once he or she is born.
