Some of the folks who have been writing letters urging that gay boys be included in Boy Scouts ignore the fact that the proposal is to include both gay boys and gay men in the Scouting movement.

Back when I was a Boy Scout, we had a man who liked to take us camping. It turned out that he was abusing the boys, who were like defenseless, trapped turkeys in a closed pen being hunted. I never became one of that man's boys, but I certainly remember the cross-examination I went through when the truth came out about that man.

How many of the passionate writers of the letters would write an equally passionate letter about including gay men in Scouting?
