Gun control will never stop people killing one another, but common sense shouts that we should make it more difficult for anyone to purchase a firearm.

And we should begin to be unselfish. Selfish is the person who believes one should be free to visibly tote heat in public, the person who believes one should be free to carry concealed firearms without a permit, the person who believes one should be free of background checks and registration before gun purchases.

Even folks in the Wild West exercised common sense, banning firearms within town limits. Common sense bans assault weapons, requires background checks and registration. These salient safety measures would go a long way in protecting all of us.
