There are many people who say that, by carpooling to school, work and other things you do every day, you will help improve our quality of air. This is true, but it is difficult to get everyone to do this.

Salt Lake has even made available TRAX and FrontRunner for citizens to use; both help, somewhat.

It is a good idea to say that more people should carpool, but that can be difficult, depending on schedules: Both people have to want to do the same thing at the same time.

What we all really need to do is drive less. Think about all the things you do in a day; is there a way to make fewer trips?

One way to use less gas is to walk from one place to another nearby place instead of driving.
