First it was the blame game; now it's sour grapes.
A week after he graciously conceded defeat in the presidential election, Gov. Mitt Romney blamed those who wanted gifts from the government for voting for President Barack Obama. Now his son, Tagg Romney, has the gall to tell The Boston Globe that Mitt Romney "wanted to be president less than anyone I've met in my life. He had no desire to … run."
In all of American history, George Washington was perhaps the only person who really would rather have not had the job. The American people want a president who wants and likes the job. If Tagg Romney is correct, the people were right to reject a guy who apparently was only acting — for six years! — like he wanted the job.
Whatever. Mitt Romney was tone deaf in many of his statements. His son shows that the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree.
