I add my voice about the upcoming "fiscal cliff." We had a national election and the people spoke.

The American people are through with gridlock and political posturing in Congress. They want cooperation, compromise and elected officials working together to create an effective plan to manage our deficit and strengthen our economy.

Any member of Congress who is unwilling to compromise with members of the other party and create a deal to avoid the fiscal cliff should not be paid or allowed to come home from Washington, D.C., for the holidays until they do. And they should be fired at the next election cycle for not doing their job.
