Bravo Ballet West! I was fortunate to attend its opening performance of "The Nutcracker" at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. ("Ballet West's 'Nutcracker' wows a hardened D.C. critic," Tribune, Dec. 7). What perfection!

Whether on its home stage at the Capitol Theatre or earning standing ovations in Washington, D.C., these artists-athletes are a true jewel in the crown of the multitude of cultural resources we have in Utah.

An invitation to dance at the Kennedy Center is well-deserved for this world-class company. Can't wait to see them again later this month when they return to Salt Lake City.
