Re "Controversial Utah trooper Lisa Steed meets to discuss her firing" (Tribune, Nov. 28):
From all the news stories as well as the mounting evidence surrounding Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Lisa Steed's law enforcement career, she would be better off seeking a new one.
She sought fame for record-setting arrests of drunken drivers. However, by bending and breaking so many rules, she excelled right past famous to infamous.
If she wishes to remain in law enforcement, she should move to Mexico, where her methods could at least earn her extra cash on the side.
Having her gone will also lessen the tarnish that she brought upon the entire Utah Highway Patrol. Enough already!
