I usually write letters to complain. Today, I write to say thank you.
While fishing at Little Dell Reservoir, I recently had the opportunity — no, privilege — to watch Life Flight and search and rescue teams train for hours.
All who recreate in Utah's great outdoors should give a heartfelt thanks to these professionals who risk their lives flying or hanging on a cable with a stretcher or victim 50 or 100 feet below a helicopter in the back country.
