Why did Mia Love lose Utah's 4th Congressional District seat to Rep. Jim Matheson? The GOP produced a candidate with all the winning traits to finally take Matheson out: black, female, Mormon, conservative.

What went wrong? Perhaps Love represented the "con" in conservative too well. Who better to rally and marginalize blacks, immigrants, females and the poor than a black female born to poor immigrants?

It takes a self-righteous person to sell oppression to her own kind with a Bible and a smile. All for what? Money, fame and power.

I don't support Matheson. However, Utah correctly sent Love home rather than to Congress to obstruct and reverse the human and civil rights movements that gave her the opportunity to run against them.

I wasn't fooled.
