The election is over, and the way I see it, the country made a swing onto the downhill road leading to European socialism. Somehow, with the help of the mainstream media, lies and promises he will never keep, our inept "leader" has solidified his place in history.

I am ashamed of my country's leader and his supporters. I feel as if I have been run over by a manure truck, and some plop landed next to my ever-aching body.

Oh, well, guess it's time to begin the process of healing and rebuilding one's inner sanctum. If only to have some kind of safe place to hide.
