With your courageous editorial "Too Many Mitts: Obama has earned another term" (Our View, Oct. 21), you have brought great credit upon your paper and shined a new light upon the faded vision of journalistic integrity.
I hope your subscribers will see the merit in your arguments and not unjustly condemn your stance, one that I suppose to be at odds with the prevailing opinion.
You have earned the respect and attention of a great many across the nation. I will be following your editorials, not because I assume I will always agree with your positions, but rather I now know that the opinions are a product of intellectual honesty and profound integrity.
If it happens that your perspective proves different from mine, I will know to carefully study your reasoning. I am always willing to be informed.
