Re "Too Many Mitts: Obama has earned another term" (Our View, Oct. 21):

There are indeed too many Mitts: the Mitt who once recognized that climate change was an environmental and economic threat; the Mitt who makes jokes about sea level rise; the Mitt who calls for a transition away from fossil fuels in his 2010 book No Apology: The Case for American Greatness; the Mitt who says he loves coal and oil.

Thankfully, there's only one Barack Obama — the one who recognizes that "climate change is not a hoax. More droughts and floods and wildfires are not a joke. They are a threat to our children's future. And in this election, you can do something about it."
