I support Rep. Jim Matheson for Utah's 4th Congressional District.
Spending on education is always an investment in the future, reducing unemployment and fostering self-reliance. Matheson supports education, especially Pell grants and keeping student aid affordable. In Utah, 75 percent of college students depend on these types of aid.
Matheson's support for transportation has brought significant federal investment into Utah, including the long overdue reconstruction of Interstate 15 in Utah County and TRAX and FrontRunner. These were a direct result of bipartisan work between Matheson, former Sen. Bob Bennett and state and local transportation planners.
These types of investments improve the overall quality of life for all Utahns.
