What about athletes?

How disappointing to, yet again, pick up my Sunday, Sept. 9, Salt Lake Tribune and find no report of our outstanding and unique local sporting events.

You would have no idea that only the day prior, many Utah athletes finished the Logan to Jackson, Wyo., (LOTOJA) bike race or the Wasatch Front 100 Mile Endurance Run or the Mid Mountain Marathon (the culmination of the Triple Trail Challenge in Park City).

Arguably, it's one of the biggest sporting weekends in the region, with some fantastic performances by those in our community.

How sad that our local newspaper chooses not to cover them.
