Re "West Valley City denies Susan Powell's family access to police records" (Tribune, Aug. 29):
What is West Valley City hiding? These reports will show what the city police did or did not do.
They may reveal if there was probable cause to arrest Josh Powell, which could have led to the recovery of her body. His arrest would have prevented the children from being hit in the head with an ax by their father and roasted to death.
If the reports showed that the West Valley City Police Department did everything it could have and should have done, the reports would have been turned over in a heartbeat and published in the media.
