KSL, which is owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, announced that it won't air "The New Normal," NBC's new fall show about two gay men having a baby through a surrogate mother ("KSL won't air gay-themed NBC sitcom 'New Normal,'" Tribune, Aug. 25).
It is sad that Mormons do not want to portray a gay couple as a regular couple but want to keep alive their hateful narrative that gays are sinners and degenerates.
