The editorial "Gun laws: Presidential candidates fall short" (Our View, July 28) asked "what has happened to American society to make people so afraid"?
The answer is simple: People don't trust government.
Democrats can't stand the honest gun owner. What are they afraid of?
If you banned all guns, the criminals would still have them. Democrats and The Trib's editorial board are the best gun salesmen in the world.
