I don't know how many wildfires have been started by target shooting, but until shooters learn to pick up after themselves, there should be a ban on target shooting. Nothing is more irritating than going out to the desert and finding hundreds of spent shotgun shells strewn about.
Shooters, pick up your spent shells, or better yet, shoot at an approved shooting range. Sometimes I wonder if Utahns actually deserve all of this wonderful public land.
