GOP throws game

Mitt Romney characterizes President Barack Obama's policies as failures. In Do Not Ask What Good We Do: Inside the U.S. House of Representatives, Robert Draper reports that on inauguration night in 2009, Republicans Newt Gingrich, Reps. Eric Cantor, Paul Ryan, Pete Sessions, and Sens. Jim DeMint and Jon Kyl, among others, met to plot the political downfall of the new president.

They contrived a party strategy of systematically and unyieldingly opposing Obama's appointees and all of his policies and initiatives — this, while the country was fighting two wars, the banking and world monetary systems were on the edge of collapse and the unemployment rate was over 9 percent. In October 2010, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell stated on national TV that the primary purpose of his party in the new Congress was to make sure Obama was a one-term president.

If you are on team USA, and one or more of your supposedly loyal players intentionally throws the game, who is responsible for the result? Who owns the record Romney is running against?

It's his guys. They have worked to throw the game because they are sore the skinny kid was chosen captain.

Ban them from the league.
