Stuart Young thinks The Tribune should reflect the conservative view that is "most valued and appreciated" by the majority of Utahns ("Trib too liberal," Forum, July 2).
He appears to have difficulty with the fact that a significant population in this reddest of red states does not share his views. Perhaps he wants a world where everyone agrees with him.
Meantime, some of us are interested in comparing our thinking with that of others who think differently, in the hopes of refining our knowledge and understanding.
The self-righteousness reflected in Young's complaint might be tempered if he were to trouble himself to learn from people he disagrees with.
