I read the story about a grass fire in a salvage yard on Redwood Road and 1000 South ("Grass fire ignites trucks in Salt Lake City," Tribune, July 4).
Without probable cause or eyewitness testimony, the owner assumes a homeless person caused the fire.
With Utah being the driest it has been in decades, we must not start pointing fingers at people who are less fortunate than ourselves every time something goes wrong (a fire, a burglary, a murder).
The owner of the property should have facts on his side before condemning people because of their plight.
