Ann Romney, Mitt Romney's wife, recently appeared on Fox News to defend herself against accusations that, as a stay-at-home mother, she has never really worked.

In her defense of choosing to stay home, Romney said, "All of us need to know that we need to respect choices that women make. … we have to respect women in all the choices that they make." ("Ann Romney defends role as stay-at-home mom," Tribune, April 13)

Ann Romney is right. A woman should be respected for the personal choices that she makes. And if her husband is elected, I hope she reminds him of this when he cuts off funding for Planned Parenthood.
