Wanna see how fast times are a-changin’ vis a vis gay marriage?

That’s two senators’ votes shy of the two-thirds needed to override Gov. Chris Christie’s promised veto, but gay marriage proponents say they’ll get those votes.
Regardless, it’s a landmark achievement for civil rights, for the notion that all humans are created equal, for the pursuit of happiness, for equal protection of the laws, liberty and justice for all — for, you know, those all-American principles.
Proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all the inhabitants thereof. Let freedom ring!
Public opinion on this issue is changing fast.
"Come senators, congressmen, please heed the call. Don’t stand in the doorway, don’t block up the hall. ... Your old road is rapidly agin’. Please get out of the new one if you can’t lend your hand for the times they are a-changin’."
