Powell was a coward
First Published Feb 08 2012 01:01 am • Last Updated Feb 08 2012 01:01 am

Nathan Leach, Josh Powell’s cousin says, "I can tell you that Josh was terrorized" ("Josh’s cousin: ‘We can’t help but wonder if this could have been prevented,’" Tribune, Feb. 7). Please, the only ones terrorized were those two innocent little boys, missing their mother.

Leach says Powell had been cyber-bullied, named as a person of interest and his behavior slandered, really? All Powell had to do from day one was to tell the truth, where was he that night, what did he know and, most all, take a polygraph test. If he had nothing to do with the disappearance of his wife, then he should have done everything in his power to prove that.

But, no, Powell was a coward till the end, not just taking his own life, but the lives of his children.

Those two little boys now are with their mother who did not and would not have ever deserted them.

Josh Powell did not love his children.
