Shameful ad
First Published Feb 04 2012 01:01 am • Last Updated Feb 04 2012 01:01 am

Upon receiving this week’s copy of the event mailer Now Salt Lake in my mailbox, I was stunned to find a full-page, paid advertisement for the Fundamentalist Church of Latter-Day Saints.

What is wrong with you? That a mainstream publication — a subsidiary of The Salt Lake Tribune no less (through MediaOne, which is jointly owned with the Deseret News) — accepting advertising revenue from this felonious and degenerate cult is truly outrageous.

Doing business with such a repugnant organization — one that encourages and enacts the systematic abuse and sexual assault of women and children — is appalling. You should be ashamed.
