In "Pharaoh's workers" (Forum, March 8), Buni Phillips laments the onerous burdens that have increasingly been placed on state employees. I just want her to know that these days we are all in the same boat; it doesn't matter who you are working for.

No one is getting raises. Some people can't even get health insurance. And not all private sector employees get bonuses. We are all struggling. Don't think you state employees are the only ones.
