In the gubernatorial debate last Thursday ("Split second: Things testy," Tribune, Oct. 1), Gov. Gary Herbert argued that to restrict campaign contributions is to curtail free speech. He has a point. Money talks, and lots of money talks louder. Does that help you understand why our legislators aren't hearing us?
