Two men and a teenager were arrested for allegedly burglarizing a Mormon church last week.
In Wednesday's early morning hours, someone broke into a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building in Duchesne city and stole both property and cash, according to the Duchesne County Sheriff's Office.
Detectives spoke to one of the men, who implicated the other man and a 17-year-old boy, all of whom are locals. The two men told officers where to find the stolen items and money, which were later recovered, according to the sheriff's office.
The two men were arrested Friday under suspicion of burglary, criminal mischief and misdemeanor-level theft and booked into Duchesne County Jail. The teenager is being held at the Split Mountain Youth Detention Center in Vernal.
