When he's not biting off an ear, even ex-boxing champ Mike Tyson can deliver a poetic punch worthy of a Utah autumnal weekend: "I have to dream and reach for the stars, and if I miss a star then I grab a handful of clouds."

"Iron Mike" would have lots of the latter to clinch with on Saturday as he waded into cloudy skies along the Wasatch Front, comfortable enough to shadowbox in daytime high temperatures flirting with 70 degrees — a mirror of Friday's northern Utah weather forecast.

He could still work up a sweat in southern Utah, where highs Saturday, like Friday, were forecast to hit the low-80s. What's more, Tyson could refresh from a Saturday morning round on the heavy bags with an afternoon rain shower in Utah's Dixie.

He should enjoy it, having learned that the weather, like life lessons, changes perspective.

"I ain't the same person I was when I bit that guy's ear off," as Tyson has put it.

The Utah Division of Air Quality hoisted its "green" or healthy air quality banners statewide heading through the weekend.

Mold was at "moderate"levels as of Friday on the Intermountain Allergy & Asthma website's pollen index, but all other allergens were either very low or too low to register at all.
