A man run down in an Ogden crosswalk Tuesday had been upgraded to fair condition as of Thursday, but a young boy struck by a car Wednesday night remained critical, police say.

Ogden police Lt. Tim Scott confirmed that the 53-year-old man, struck down Tuesday night as he crossed the 30th St. intersection with Jefferson Ave., was improving and expected to survive.

However, the condition of a 6-year-old boy struck in the intersection of 35th Street and Harrison Boulevard on Wednesday, remained unchanged.

The boy was walking eastbound in the crosswalk on the south side of the intersection when he was hit.

No charges have yet been filed in either accident, which remain under investigation.
