Wanted: One poorly disguised but well-armed man who held up the University Federal Credit Union in southcentral Salt Lake City.

Salt Lake City police Detective Veronica Montoya says that the suspect — a 5-foot-8 Asian male in his late-20s or early-30s — was wearing a fake wig and bogus goatee, along with a blue hooded sweatshirt, black ski cap and glasses, when he entered the business at 3088 S. Richmond St. (1200 East), about 5:20 p.m. Tuesday.

The suspect, indicating he had a firearm, handed a note to the teller demanding money. He then fled on foot, northbound, with an unspecified amount of cash.
