Utah National Guard soldiers return from deployments

Fifty-two soldiers from two Utah National Guard units returned from Kosovo and Afghanistan on Monday.

Forty-five soldiers are from the 2nd Battalion, 211th Aviation Group., which was deployed in Kosovo for 11 months.

Seven soldiers from the 142nd Military Intelligence Battalion returned from a seven-month deployment in Afghanistan. The deployment had planned to be 12 months but was shortened due to the draw down in Afghanistan.
