A mechanical breakdown involving the doors on a FrontRunner train resulted in delays of up to 30 minutes for southbound commuters between Clearfield and Salt Lake City on Thursday morning.

Utah Transit Authority reported a train that had stopped at the Clearfield station about 7:30 a.m. was unable to properly operate its doors.

UTA dispatched a new train to take riders from Salt Lake City southbound to Provo, and said that train should be on-schedule.
