Police arrested two brothers in a suspected gang-related drive-by shooting outside a downtown Salt Lake City night club early Friday morning.
Police say that about 1 a.m. Friday, security at the Trails club ordered two men to leave. They did, but soon returned in a car, confronted a group of people gathered outside near 900 S. 300 West, and after flashing gang signs opened fire.
While two gunshots struck a nearby parked car, no one was injured.
The suspects then sped from the scene, but were soon spotted by SLCPD officers responding to reports of the gunshots.
The officers followed the car until it stopped a short distance away and arrested the brothers, ages 33 and 25.
The men were booked into the Salt Lake County jail on suspicion of discharging a firearm from a vehicle and other charges.
