Police on Wednesday were searching for a man who robbed a credit union in West Jordan.

A man walked into the University of Utah Federal Credit Union, 8952 S. Redwood Road about 10:30 a.m., displayed what appeared to be a bomb and demanded money.

The man arrived and left on a bicycle but was seen getting into an older model, gray minivan with Idaho license plates, police wrote.

The man appeared to be a white with a tan complexion and in his mid- to late 40s. He was 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a medium build, police wrote. He wore a red T-shirt, denim pants and dark shoes.
