An unseasonably warm early-autumn forecast ruled as Utah hit its midweek stride.

The National Weather Service reported that the Wasatch Front would see temperatures approach 90 degrees under mostly clear, sunny skies on both Wednesday and Thursday, some 10-15 degrees hotter than normal for this time of year.

Northern Utahns could expect some daytime relief from 10-20 mph breezes, and overnight lows in the upper-50s to low-60s.

Southern Utah's daytime highs both days were to climb into the low- to mid-90s under clear, sunny skies.

The Utah Division of Air Quality maintained forecast of "green," or healthy conditions for the entire state through the end of the work week.

The Intermountain Allergy & Asthma website listed only sagebrush as "very high," on its pollen index as of Tuesday, while mod was "high."
