Utah's summer plans to go out with a blaze of glorious heat, with temperatures on Tuesday forecast to hit 90 degrees along the Wasatch Front and southern Utah thermometers flirting with triple digits.

With one week left on the calendar before the official start of autumn, northern Utah awaited Tuesday's sunny, clear skies after overnight lows dipped into upper-50s to low-60s. Monday's forecast for the Wasatch Front called for highs in the upper-80s, interspersed with isolated thunderstorms and rain showers.

Utah's Dixie expected only sunny to partly cloudy, rainless skies with overnight lows in the upper-60s heralding upper-90s days.

The Utah Division of Air Quality forecast of "green," or healthy conditions for the entire state into the midweek.

The Intermountain Allergy & Asthma website rated sagebrush as "very high," ragweed and mold "high" and grass at "moderate" levels on its pollen index Monday, all other allergens were "low."
