Salt Lake City police want the public's help in recovering several pieces of large industrial construction equipment, and putting the thieves behind bars.
On Friday, SLCPD released photos of the equipment including welding gear, saws and nail guns stolen from J&M Steel Solutions on Aug. 26.
The equipment was taken from the company's storage container at 4325 W. Commercial Ave. (3500 South). Valued at more than $60,000, most of the items were marked with the company's initials, "J&M."
SLCPD warns that the gear has been listed in a stolen property data base, so potential buyers of similar property from a secondary source should check the serial number with a local police agency.
Anyone with information this case is asked to call SLCPD at 801-799-3000, or anonymously text a tip to TIPSLCPD plus any relevant information to 274637.
