Summit County authorities were searching the Coalville area on Thursday for a missing man who left home about 1 a.m. to walk his dog.

Allen Dale Brogerg, 44, suffers from a medical condition and family members said he had been drinking when they last saw him. He is believed to be in the area of Hobson Lane and Hoytsville Road in Coalville.

Broberg is 6 foot 2 and has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue Levis and a sweatshirt. Anyone who has seen him is asked to call Summit County dispatchers at 435-615-3600.

The Summit County Sheriff's Office, the Department of Public Safety helicoptor and the county's search and rescue team are part of the search. In addition, an automated 911 call about Broberg has been sent to the residents of the Coalville 84107 area code.
