St. George • Authorities in southern Utah have arrested a St. George man accused of repeatedly calling a local FBI office and threatening agents.
The Spectrum of St. George reports that 49-year-old Robert Zickella is being held in the Purgatory Correctional Facility on a threat of terrorism charge after his Sunday arrest.
Police say in court records that FBI agents in St. George reported receiving 112 phone calls from Zickella over several days in which he threatened agents and threatened to blow up the FBI building.
Washington County Attorney Brock Belnap says Zickella was in court Tuesday afternoon where a judge set a $10,000 bond and Zickella was appointed an attorney.
Attorney Aric Cramer was assigned to defend Zickella.
Cramer said he had no details about the case Tuesday.
