Historic Utah church is converting into a business hub

(Steve Griffin | The Salt Lake Tribune) Thomas Lee is turning the Central Christian Church of Salt Lake City, the red-brick building on 400 South and 300 east that most people know for its sign featuring humorous quips about Christianity, into an innovative business development center. Here Lee stands in the chapel of the old church in Salt Lake City, Thursday, August 28, 2014. The antiquated 70-year-old building is now being remodeled, after churchgoers sold it to Lee and his partner who will offer space to start-up companies with few strings attached.
