OK, the week-long rains are giving Utah a break. What to do with all this sunshine?

Turn to that font of all plushy puppet wisdom, Sesame Street, where Bert would advise that, "You should really take a walk on this lovely, sunny [Fri]day."

Friday's Wasatch Front forecast calls for mostly bright, clear blue skies and high temperatures in the mid-80s — up a couple degrees but otherwise an echo of Thursday's expectations.

Southern Utahns will see daytime temperatures return to the mid- to upper-90s under sunny to partly cloudy skies both days.

The Utah Division of Air Quality graded most of the state as "yellow," or compromised; only Box Elder, Cache and Carbon counties earned "green," or healthy assessments in Friday's projections.

The Intermountain Allergy & Asthma website listed chenopods aas "very high," ragweed and mold as "high," grass as "moderate" and other allergens "low" on the pollen index as of Thursday.
