One person was dead and two others injured after an out-of-control cement truck smashed into a pickup Wednesday morning in St. George.

One person in the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second occupant, along with the cement truck’s driver, sustained minor injuries.

The victim’s name was withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.
